App Store Description

Track your bowel movements with this simple poop log app. Ever wonder what your bowel movements mean and how they affect your health? Curious to find out how frequently you suffer from bowel conditions like constipation, diarrhea, or bloody stool? Do you know if your diet is causing you constipation or diarrhea? Well now tracking your bowel movements is easier than ever.

Find out what consistency, poop color, poop frequency, and poop urgency means for your health by tracking and analyzing these stats over time, then use that data to determine if bowel or diet issues, such as diarrhea, constipation, or crohn's are present.

Poop Tracker uses the Bristol Stool Scale to determine the quality of your poop and allows you to track and analyze your bowel movement data across all of your poop tracker entries.

Poop log features include:
- Log every poop you take.
- Track poop stats like Stool colour, Stool type (Bristol Stool Scale), poop urgency, stool size, bloody stool and more. These metrics can be important to determine if you have any bowel problems such as diarrhea, constipation, ibs (irritable bowel syndrome), colitis,
crohn's or other bowel problems.
- Leave custom notes on each stool entry, these can be useful to determine if your diet is causing you poop problems.
- View and modify previous poop log entries.
- View a data breakdown and graph of your poop statistics over time including metrics like when your bowel movements happen and a day by day history (PREMIUM ONLY)

Why track your bowel movements?

Tracking bowel movements can be a useful tool to gauge your stool health over time and potentially uncover any chronic bowel problems you might have such as: IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome), Crohn's disease, Colitis, Celiac disease, Constipation, Diarrhea, and more. via noticing patterns and irregularities in your stool that you may not have noticed otherwise. This can also help you figure out whether your diet is causing problems with your poop schedule, poop consistency, or poop urgency.

Those who already suffer from chronic bowel conditions such as IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome), Crohn's disease, Colitis, Celiac, Constipation, Diarrhea, etc can also benefit from tracking their bowel movements as it can help to monitor the severity of their symptoms and progression of these life altering diseases over time.

About the Bristol Stool Scale:

The Bristol stool scale, Bristol stool chart (BSC), Bristol stool form scale, or BSF scale is a diagnostic medical tool designed to classify the form of human stool into seven categories. It is used in both clinical and experimental fields. It is sometimes referred to in the UK as the Meyers scale.

About Constipation

Constipation refers to bowel movements that are infrequent or hard to pass. The stool is often hard and dry. Other symptoms may include abdominal pain, bloating, and feeling as if one has not completely passed the bowel movement.

Constipation has many causes. Common causes include slow movement of stool within the colon, IBS / irritable bowel syndrome, and pelvic floor disorders. Underlying associated diseases include hypothyroidism, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, celiac disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, colon cancer, diverticulitis, and inflammatory bowel disease.

About Diarrhea

Diarrhea, also spelled diarrhoea, is the condition of having at least three loose or liquid bowel movements each day. It often lasts for a few days and can result in dehydration due to fluid loss.

The most common cause is an infection of the intestines due to either a virus, bacteria, or parasite; a condition known as gastroenteritis. These infections are often acquired from food or water that has been contaminated by stool. It may be divided into three types: short duration watery diarrhea, short duration bloody diarrhea, and if it lasts for more than two weeks, persistent diarrhea.
