Within this intuitive Poultry Nutrition Calculator, the basic nutrient composition data of up to 40 nutritional values, of a variety of primary ingredients for poultry feed, have been previously recorded according to universally acknowledged nutrient profile values. This calculator then assists the User with the calculation when formulating custom feeds for poultry. An analysis of the results of the diet created can then be compared to the bird’s optimum formula pre-registered by the User, according to a bird’s specific type and life stage. Additionally, sample diet specifications are provided as a base which can then be used directly or as a base in the preparation of custom formulation.

The User can modify the nutritional values for the primary feed ingredients as necessary, and has the option to include additional ingredients, along with their nutritional profiles in the pantry section.

Once the custom diet has been saved, simply enter the desired weight of the feed, and the system will automatically adjust the individual weights of each ingredient accordingly. If the User has previously recorded the purchase prices in the pantry, the cost of the custom diet will be calculated automatically.
