Sometimes, shy children in a classroom are overshadowed by extroverted students with outgoing personality and verbal skills. The others sometimes get left behind, afraid to share their inner thoughts with anyone except a trusted friend or confidant.
In our story, Johnny, said to be the “lazy” and "reluctant" Learner, transforms himself into a CHANGE LEADER and CLASSROOM CHAMPION, providing vision and new direction to his fellow table teammates, and finally the whole class. We witness what could be unkind, bully-like behavior change into constructive, productive and positive classroom behavior.
The App encourages readers to imagine themselves as members of the library class, participating in and sharing as many ideas as they can, doing some matching exercises, and throughout the story, urging the virtual students to get "fired-up," finding the magic of learning, discovering their own abilities and utilizing their own talents.
