PowHunter is an iOS app designed to ease the skiing experience by providing users with in-depth ski & snow reports and detailed resort and terrain information. With PowHunter, you can ski like a local no matter where you are!

PowHunter Provides:

In-Depth Ski and Snow Weather Reports
Our ski report information is better than no other! PowHunter compiles advanced weather and snow report data from the National Weather Service into an easy to read yet detailed user interface, allowing users to see the ​general weather and snow forecasts at a glance while retaining the ability to read text forecasts for more in-depth data.

Web Cams
Live camera views at many of the resorts we support. This gives you an immediate view of conditions on the mountain, helping you figure out lift lines, weather conditions and much much more!

Lift Status
PowHunter provides up to the minute lift status information at the majority of the resorts we support, showing which lifts are Open, On Hold or Closed at any time.

Run and Terrian Database
PowHunter has access to our ski resort run and terrain database with over 4000 entries, each providing detailed calculated information about the run including maps, length, slope, aspect, elevation change and more!

Users can add both Private and Publics runs to our database, allowing you to expand our collective knowledge or take advantage of the powers of PowHunter on your secret powder stash.

Run Suggestions
PowHunter uses advanced machine learning algorithms to calculate and predict runs from our database you may enjoy, allowing users find new favorites at their home ski resort or helping users to ski the mountain like a local when visiting somewhere new.

Trail Maps
PowHunter provides trail maps for every resort that we support, often with multiple maps from different years and different areas of the mountain. Ski Area Trail Maps are stored on the cloud and can be downloaded to your device, so users can be sure to always have a copy of a trail map no matter what happens!

National Coverage
PowHunter supports over 90 of the most popular ski resorts across America, with catered advanced information about each one. More ski resorts are being added every day so we can better support our users. With PowHunter’s extensive coverage, you can be sure to be in the know no matter where you are.
