Pressures is a platform for applying democratic pressure on decision-makers through poll results that are automatically delivered to them.

You can vote and comment on issues you care about without registration or login. You can also post your own poll or referendum (AKA a pressure).

A pressure is a single-question poll with a single-selection response (e.g. what's your favorite primary color? ◎Red ◎Blue ◎Green).

A pressure can have a "target" that is automatically sent the votes and comments tabulated by country, state, and city.

A target can be an elected official, a policy maker, or a decision maker with an institutional or business email address (such as @boston.gov or @boeing.com), and not an email service address (such as @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com, etc.).

Once you author a pressure, you can invite people to vote on it, and every time your pressure receives the specified number of votes, Pressures emails the vote results to your designated target.
