Proviso West

Proviso West was founded in 1958 and is one of
three high schools in the Proviso Township High
School District 209 located in west suburban Cook
County near Chicago, Illinois. Proviso West serves
the communities of Bellwood, Berkeley, Broadview,
Hillside, Northlake, Stone Park, and Westchester,
Illinois. Proviso West is fully accredited by the North
Central Association of Schools and Colleges and the
Illinois State Board of Education. Total enrollment
for 2015-2016 was 2017 with a 422 member
graduating class.
Proviso West is a member of the National Association
of College Admissions Counselors and complies
with the NACAC Statement of Principals of Good
Practice.
