QLC Spotlight

As humans we’re great at losing things, but when you combine our new SPOTLIGHT℠ app with beacon technology, your chances of finding them just got better.

This latest app from QLC was created to work with small Bluetooth devices, or beacons, that send tiny radio signals to your smartphone saying “Hey, look at me, I'm over here!” You can place the beacon on just about anything — your keys, your wallet, your mischievous middle child, wherever. By using proximity detection the SPOTLIGHT app locates the missing item and uses a gauge to indicate whether you are "hot" or "cold" in relation to the beacon.

This app is the interface between the beacon sticker and your smart phone. Set up is easy, and once you’re done, you can pair with the beacon sticker and give it a label to correspond with the object you’d like to track. Then, just like using a flashlight in the dark, you’ll be able to find your object using the proximity detection features within the app. It’s just that easy.
