From 14 to 16 November, Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) is set to organize its 2nd Annual Scientific Conference 2024, under the theme “Gastrointestinal Disorders in Primary Health Care”. It is driven by evidence-based indicators of the prevalence of such diseases and the need for a more advanced and effective approach to their management, capitalizing on clinical experience, latest research, and rapidly developing examination/diagnosis techniques.

The three-day conference will bring together a slew of consultants and specialists from major health facilities in Qatar, to exchange information and experience and present the results of research and peer-reviewed studies. Expected to attract participants from various public and private-sector health facilities, whether in person or online, the event will certainly translate into better medical practice in relation to widespread gastrointestinal disorders.

Attendance is estimated to be around 1,000 doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and technicians, with 50% of participants being present in person, while the remaining will participate online. The conference adopts CPD credit hours, as determined by the Accreditation Section of the Ministry of Public Health’s (MOPH) Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP).
