QRme - App

QRme is a mobile application which erases boundaries between the consumer and the dining establishment. The world is developing and modernizing rapidly with technologies being integrated into various industries. Restaurants are the biggest lagers in this transformation. Customers’ experiences at dining establishments such as restaurants, cafes and other types dining facilities have not changed much for decades. The problems include and are not limited to the following:
• Long wait time to order. Waiters unable to take orders in a timely manner.
• The bill getting out of hand and difficult to keep track of.
• Difficulty to split the bill among various people in a party.
• Standard menus are becoming old fashioned, ordinary and predictable.
• The waiters having to recite the dishes of the day, which are most of the times missed by the listeners or presented in an unattractive way.
• Not having the right amount of cash, or any cash on hand to tip the server.
The QRme application has solutions to all of these problems, while delivering a modern, customer-friendly experience. Once the user arrives to the designated dining location, he/she scans a QR code and suddenly has the restaurant’s menu on his/her phone. The application has multiple features allowing the user to make their orders straight from the phone, to call the waiter, and to pay the bill within the application (the users can save their bank accounts on the application for ease of access to fund when having to pay). Additionally, if there are multiple people in the dinner party, they have the feature to easily split the bill by scanning the QR code and pay the bill on their individual phones.
