QuarMon

The QuarMon App is to be used for monitoring quarantined persons by the authorities of the Government of Manipur. Each quarantined person will be required to install the app on their smartphone and register himself.

The app has 3 functionalities
(a) Register
(b) Start Quarantine
(c) Take Selfie

User has to first register by providing Name, Quarantine Address, Mobile number and another optional alternate Mobile number. Once the user is at the designated quarantine location, he has to start quarantine after which the app will start sending device location to a central server using the geolocation service provided by the mobile device. The user is also required to press take selfie every two hours except during sleeping time.

The app shares data only with the Government of Manipur which will be used by the government solely for the purpose of monitoring the movement of the quarantined person and will not be used for any other purpose. None of the personal data including name, mobile number, photos and location information will be disclosed to the public.
