Start by easily creating a new game and giving it a unique title. The main screen is intelligently divided to support your recording needs:
Top Section: The upper half features a clear, interactive chess board alongside a selection of chess pieces. To record a move, simply select the desired piece, then tap on its destination square on the board.
Bottom Section: The lower half automatically generates a move notation as you tap, building a clear record of your game. This allows for quick and accurate transcription of your matches, making post-game analysis a breeze.
Once your game concludes, simply finalize and save it. All your recorded matches are stored in an organized archive, ready for you to revisit, review, and learn from at any time.

Chess Clock: Precision Timing for Your Matches
"QuietMove Journal" also includes a sophisticated, yet easy-to-use, chess clock to manage your game time:
Dual Timers: The clock features two distinct display fields, each showing the chosen time for a player.
Time Setting: In the center, you'll find a "Time" button. Tap it to set the duration for each player, ranging from a brisk 1 minute to a strategic 180 minutes, catering to all game formats.
Intuitive Play: The first tap can be initiated by either player. Once the first player taps their side of the clock, the other side activates, and their countdown begins. Subsequent taps switch the active timer, ensuring a smooth and accurate timekeeping experience for both players.
