QuizBuddy
What is it about?
QuizBuddy was created by Pavithr Goli a junior at the Village High School in Houston, Texas. Pavithr is a very dedicated and passionate Quiz Bowler, having done it for about 6 years now. He is currently the president and captain of the Quiz Bowl team in his school and wanted to introduce a new method of learning. Many Quiz Bowlers around the nation are very interested by the concept of Quiz Bowl but don't necessarily study or improve. However, in order to encourage improvement, Pavithr created QuizBuddy in order to help quiz bowlers by giving them clues to study and a way to test themselves. As stated above, QuizBuddy has two modes: a study mode and a quiz mode. The study mode is where quiz bowlers can learn clues through flashcards with clues as well as bonuses from packets. The second part of the app (the quiz mode) is where students can practice by using past questions. The tossups and bonuses used in the app were extracted from QuizDB. Raynor Kuang, the founder of QuizDB, is much appreciated for contributing towards this app through this support and contribution of questions for this app.
