R128x Loudness Measuring Tool

r128x is a utility app for batch-measuring loudness of audio files which formats are supported* by the current version of the CoreAudio framework shipped in macOS and iOS.

This is a useful utility in audio production industry. Some scenarios for example:
- If you are a MIDI composer asking for someone else to help you mix the tracks, you need to make sure the loudness and the max dB-to-top of all tracks are in the safe range.
- Mastering engineers can use this tool to see whether an album shares the same loudness range among all of its tracks.
- Especially, this app allows you to immediately audition the 3-second part around the first dBTP location by tapping / clicking a measured track. You may also use the up / down arrow key on your keyboard to navigate among measured tracks and hit the space key to do the same audition action.

P.S.: The supported formats include MOV, MP4, MP3, MP2, M4A (iTunes Plus), WAV, AIF, OGG, AIFF, CAF, ALAC, SD2, AC3, FLAC.

The App Store version of this app charge fees as a compensation to the cost of the Apple Developer Program fee.
