App Store Description

You are studying Japanese, and would like to practice reading Hiragana and Katakana.

Random Kana is a simple yet effective app to get grasp of Hiragana and Katakana by trying your best to remember how to read and write them.

Random Kana displays a random character (hiragana, katakana or romaji) and you have to read it or write it (in Japanese) as fast as you can. Zen-like, no hassle, no help, no sounds, no useless notifications, no ads. Just pure focus.

You can also display 2, 3, 4 or 5 random characters each time to increase difficulty. Switch between modes to see if you got it right.

Use it with a textbook, on the train, waiting for the bus, it's just that simple. Make it a habit, and you will finally learn the Japanese alphabet in no time.
