Ransack

Ransack is a game for giving and swapping presents, especially when you can’t be together in person! It’s sometimes known as the White Elephant game, Dirty Santa or Stealing Santa. It takes the idea of Secret Santa but gives everyone a chance to win the gift they want most. Especially if you can’t all come together face-to-face, Ransack makes the giving and exchanging of gifts more fun, interactive and captivating.

Users upload pictures of their gifts, virtually wrap them with a choice of shapes and wrappings, then use the app to exchange and swap or steal from each-other. While playing you can all chat with one another via in-game audio.

The Ransack app offers three types of game: Steady Start Steal, Steady Start Swap and Free-for-All, and these variations mean there are options suitable for all: whether it’s mild family fun or a competitive edge between colleagues.

The Host configures the game to their liking, chooses a date and time, and can invite up to 50 others to join in: friends, family or colleagues. Whichever way it’s set up, the givers get the kudos of donating the gift most desired by their friends, and the players can chase down their perfect gift!
