Rattler Scanner

by Bytes and Bounty, LLC

What is it about?

This app is designed to read coin identification numbers using machine vision off of coin slabs. This was originally designed to read PCGS rattler slab numbers but it will also read numbers off any slab from PCGS, NGC or CACG. Live video text recognition is supported as well as importing an image. If multiple coin identifiers are detected, the user can pan and zoom the image to isolate the picture to one specific slab. No more typing in numbers manually! Once a coin ID and/or serial number are detected, the buttons at the top of the app allow navigating to the proper website (or installed app) to look up the price guide or certification information.
