App Store Description

The Real Estate Research Institute, Inc., known for its “Monthly Real Estate Transaction” provides an application designed to help iPhone users to access a glossary of real estate terms.
Our glossary is user friendly, as it seeks a high retrieval performance compatible to an encyclopedia and a dictionary. It also features many photos and illustrations.

Our glossary provides definitions and explanations of a variety of terms related to real estate, ranging from land estates, houses, taxation systems, securitization of real estate to civil laws and other regulations. Our real estate glossary should be useful not only for those who are in real estate related businesses, such as brokerage (dealings and rentals), management, and consulting, but also for those who are looking for an apartment to rent and who are thinking about buying or selling a property.

1. How to Retrieve
・ Type in the term that you want to search in the blank column in the upper part of the webpage. The result can come in three ways: partial matching, hiragana of the terms, and perfect matching.

2. List of Retrieval Results
・ A list of appropriate terms is shown on the screen. As you tap the term that you want, the explanation of the particular term slides and appears on the right side.

3. Screen Displaying Retrieval Results
・ Explanation sometimes includes a term or terms with a link to another page. As you click one of them, the explanation of the particular term appears on the right side.
・ Explanation is sometimes followed by a list of “Related Terms.” As you tap one of the terms under this title, you can also get its explanation on the right side.
・ Explanation sometimes includes an image. As you tap it, you can watch it in the full-screen size.
