Recommend-It

One day, Joe finds himself in a completely different world, transported to the year 2505. Everyone in this strange place is incredibly stupid. Worst of all, Joe has no idea where to get food... or a beer... or just a place to regain his sanity. His first stop, the hospital – surely someone there must be able to help. He ends up seeing a super cool dude by the name of Dr. Lexus who tells Joe about this amazing restaurant called Carl's Jr – they even provide childcare services! Joe whips out his 2017 iPhone and opens Recommend It so he doesn't forget about this amazing place (surely it can't be the same Carl's Jr he's familiar with from his own time?!). Dr. Lexus, however, looks over Joe's shoulder completely dumbfounded – "What is that? Is that something from the future? You must be incredibly smart to understand how to use something like that!" While confused by Dr. Lexus's incredible stupidity, Joe thanks him for his recommendation and leaves the hospital on the search for more recommendations... (to be continued)

Joe's situation is perhaps one use for Recommend It, but chances are many of you may not unexpectedly find yourself transported to the year 2505. Although some recent events may seem eerily similar in our current state of affairs, let's get practical. Recommend It is all about having conversation with people "in the flesh" about restaurants, bars, or even activities you find intriguing. It's more of a passive approach to keeping track of places you want to visit. Recommend It is not a replacement to Yelp or Google Maps – continue to use these great apps to find a restaurant or bar in times of need (maybe you're hungry or extremely parched?). Use Recommend It to replace a note you would create, but without having to remember what you called it – tag your note to a location, and BAM!... instantly see your list of recommendations at any given time.
