App Store Description

Record Holder is the collector’s choice for managing record and CD collections. It is backed by Discogs, the world's largest music database.

What makes Record Holder the best?

Universal app.
Record Holder is the Discogs-backed app that works just as well on your iPad as it does on your iPhone. Use it on your iPad at home, and on your phone at the record store.

Barcode scanning and catalog-number search.
Lots of Discogs apps have barcode scanning, and Record Holder is no exception. But Record Holder also puts catalog-number searches front and center for all your older titles. If your latest haul is a mix of newer and older titles, your workflow isn't interrupted.

Advanced filtering.
It can be painful to find your exact version of older releases, or releases with many color variations. Record Holder is the only app that features full format and matrix-identifier information when scanning or searching by catalog number. Use identifier filtering to pare down long lists.

Complete information.
Many apps just check to see if you have a specific release in your collection. Record Holder takes the time to learn which releases you have and which ones you want. When you’re searching or scanning, Record Holder prioritizes that information, whether you own that release, or even a different pressing.

Saved offline.
Record Holder caches all your data, so when you're in that cool basement shop with no connection, you still know exactly what you have and what you're looking for.

Backed up online.
Record Holder uses your Discogs account to make sure your collection and wantlist are synced to the cloud. If you lose your phone or get a new one, just log in to your Discogs account, and it will all come back.
