App Store Description
RedBook Bird is an app for nature lovers, students, and researchers who want to explore and document rare bird species listed in the Red Book. It combines a personal observation diary with educational resources, helping users both enjoy birdwatching and learn about conservation.
The Rare Bird Catalog includes detailed cards with photos, species names, habitats, and conservation status. A search tool lets you filter by name or region, and you can mark each species as Spotted or Want to Find.
With the Personal Diary, you can record your own encounters by noting the date, location, and conditions of observation. Photos can be attached to each entry, along with comments and weather details for more complete documentation.
The History & Statistics module organizes all your records in chronological order, counts the number of unique species in your collection, and displays small charts that visualize your observation activity over time.
In the Knowledge Section, you’ll find reference articles about the Red Book, bird protection, and ecology. The app also shares interesting facts about bird behavior and habitats, adding context to your fieldwork or casual observations.
Settings allow you to enable notifications for special “Bird Days” or tips for observation, as well as import and export your data to keep your collection safe across devices. An About section provides additional information.
RedBook Bird combines education and personal discovery in one tool. By offering a structured way to log observations and learn about conservation, it helps users build a deeper connection with rare species and contribute to awareness of bird protection.
