Need a ride? Take the Dial-A-Ride bus; it is the smart way to go. The Charter Township of Redford and SMART have developed a microtransit system that serves Redford residents. The service offers curb-to-curb bus service throughout the community and select locations outside of Redford. To arrange transportation download the mobile app today. Our Services: - $2.00 each way for seniors (62+) and ADA certified individuals. - $4.00 for adults and children - Monday to Friday - 8:00 am - 3 pm - Wheelchair accessible. Our Coverage Area: North to 8 Mile; South to Joy Road, East to Redford border, West to Middlebelt. For medical appointments ONLY; North to 8 mile, South to Ford Rd, West to Newburgh, and East to Telegraph/Redford border. The Redford Dial-A-Ride service is cash only due to the driver upon entering the bus. Questions or need assistance, call us at 313-387-2770 or email DialARide@redfordtwp.gov.
