Reffs

There are a couple of things that can be frustrating about Rugby Union. The referees and their decisions, the laws, trying to find out what games are on the weekend and finally getting the score of the games you missed all in one place.

The purpose of REFFS is to give rugby lovers all over the world a place to meet and have their say in real-time in a way that is befitting the culture of sportsmanship and camaraderie of our beautiful game. This is not a place to offload F-Bombs, derogatory or unhelpful comments.

Referees are under huge pressure and they don’t always get it right, but without them, we have no game.

REFFS is your opportunity to rate the referee in real-time during the match or up to three hours afterwards if you don’t see it live. You can decide which team you support or if you are just watching the game as a neutral.  Voting is on a scale of -5 to +5 and you can change your vote anytime you like within the game window time (from kick-off to final whistle +3 hours) Lastly you are invited to have your say immediately after any significant event such as a Penalty, Try, Conversion, Penalty Try, Yellow Card and Red Card.

Like any game there are rules, and our TMO decision is final. We will not tolerate hate speech, or bad language of any kind towards fellow REFFS users, players TMO’s,  referees or our REFFS Development Team so keep your comments intelligent, relevant, clean and respectful.

First offenders will receive a yellow card and repeat offenders will be red-carded. Our citing Commissioner has no sense of humour so don’t try your luck.
