What is it about?

Welcome to the NAHES study. The app and the survey questions help us understand how urban nature and nature-based solution projects in cities contribute to mental wellbeing. The app measures your affect state or experiences of urban natural environments in the moment. You will be prompted to answer questions about how you feel at the moment 10 minutes after you enter the locations in your city included in this study. Therefor the app uses GPS. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life

You can access a summarized report of your emotional experiences for the locations you have visited.
The project is in collaboration with local authorities in your city. The result of this study is to help researchers and local authorities evaluate potential socioeconomic disparities in the benefits of urban nature or nature-based solution projects. Insights from this study will help local authorities plan and design equitable cities for all.
