RespCount

by Neal Kraus

What is it about?

In Medicine, we're taught that respiratory rate has prognostic indicators. Watching its trends can be key to effective patient care. The trouble is that accurate measurement is imprecise. This is a simple application I made after speaking to another physician that I feel should help make the process more accurate.

In Medicine, we're taught that respiratory rate has prognostic indicators. Watching its trends can be key to effective patient care. The trouble is that accurate measurement is imprecise. This is a simple application I made after speaking to another physician that I feel should help make the process more accurate.

It's simple, efficient, and does its job well.

The more breaths you count, the more accurate it becomes.

I recommend at least 6 breaths for measurement.
