Reuse Central

Reuse Central a green initiative from the Pennsylvania Resource Council. It is a virtual exchange that allows institutions to offer their no longer needed goods and materials to Pittsburgh, PA area nonprofits. Reuse Central connects businesses and nonprofits so needed materials can have a second life doing social good rather than ending up in a landfill. The exchange is not a marketplace and the items on the exchange are not for sale.

By connecting the region’s corporations with local nonprofits, this program is a win-win. Nonprofits get the materials they need to do the most good while corporations support their local communities, preserve resources, and save on costly hauling fees.
