Ride Up is a user driven digital environment offering tracking and
reporting of a horse’s performance and progress. It is a source of
equine related reminders, nudges, and notifications concerning a
horse’s health and wellness, upcoming competitions, and training goals.
Ride Up knows no boundaries. The concept is as expansive as the
user’s imagination.
By offering a plethora of information targeting the needs of individual
horses Ride Up allows equine enthusiasts the opportunity to mold their
own experience to best serve their needs. The tools provided within
Ride Up aid in the creation and maintenance of the horse/rider
relationship.
Once the user selects their subscription level, they may then begin
entering horse information. The Initial Awareness Questions are similar
in nature to pre-appointment paperwork with a new doctor.
A baseline for Health and Wellness of the horse is established. The user
has the option of providing the name, contact information, and
expense associated with the horse’s primary veterinarian, farrier,
equine dentist, and other care providers. User’s will be asked if he or
she would like to set reminders for any of the health and wellness
services.

Feed and supplement types, measurement amounts, and costs may be
entered. The Application will present a breakdown of costs by day,
week, and month.
While many basic training maneuvers overlap between a variety of
Disciplines, Initial Awareness Questions and the Daily Journal input will
be based on the Discipline selected for each horse.
Training Achievements are broken down into four sections:
- Groundwork
- General Under Saddle
- Discipline Specific Under Saddle
- Environmental
The user may select whether the horse adequately performs a
maneuver or not. If not, then the user is asked if he or she would like
to set a goal.
Initially designed with barrel racers in mind, Ride Up will expand its
selection of disciplines quickly in the coming months.
After the Initial Awareness Questions are complete, the user may begin
logging data in the Daily Journal section.
Depending on the Discipline selected, a series of questions will be asked
concerning the day’s training activities. Requested information may be
anticipatory in nature as well as reflective.
After training or competition, users may enter performance numbers.
Premium subscribers may upload photos and video as additional
documentation of the horse’s progress.
Simple and clear reports based on an individual horse will be available
in a sharable PDF format. Users will be able to quickly provide a

significant amount of information concerning a horse at the press of a
button.
Depending on subscription level, users will have the ability to set and
receive a variety of Notifications, Reminders, and Nudges. Upcoming
events, eligibility and deadlines for entry, Health & Wellness reminders,
and goal accountability may be delivered to the user.
Users are informed of upcoming competitions and events via a
“Notification”.
Information and prompts pertaining to the Health and Wellness dates
are “Reminders”.
And the user may receive a “Nudge” for the Goals set in the Daily
Journal or in the Initial Awareness Questions.
An ever-expanding Library of articles by a variety of authors will be
available to users. Audio versions of each article will be available as
well.
Training exercises designed by professional horsemen will be also
continually be added and available.
Developed for horse people of all experience levels, Ride Up focuses on
improving the understanding of our equine partners which ultimately
results in a more enjoyable daily relationship.
