What is it about?

Curated to connect music, art, and activism, Righteous Babe Radio (RBRadio) is built on a dream of community. Ani DiFranco's thirty year catalog of recorded music and live performance form the foundation of the station. Weekly features include the broadcast of a previously unreleased live Ani shows. Many of these will come straight off the board tapes and have not been edited/mixed at all. They are simply, As Is! From there, the sounds stem from the music of Righteous Babe Records and Ani's musical families, sprinkled with poems, spoken word, interviews, and short essays. We hope it can become a place where the voices of many fellow travellers can intermingle and intersect...maybe discover each other. In the spirit of Ani's life-long quest for self-sufficiency within the music industry, RBRadio is produced by Righteous Babe Records, an independent record company founded by the most righteous babe herself, Ani DiFranco.
