Road Trip DJ

Road Trip DJ is the perfect companion for your next long drive. It will use your location to play songs from your phone's music library. As you drive, the app uses the names of streets, towns, and sometimes local attractions to find relevant songs to play. It also downloads news articles and the hometown for each of the artists in your library. It might play a song because you're driving through an artist's hometown!.

The app features a "Trip Report" so you can see all the songs played during your drive. Each entry in the report has the song name, artist, location, and a summary of the article about the artist if the article had some text in it matching the location.

FOR EXAMPLE:
• Driving on "Main St, Anytown, USA" might cause the app to play a song from the Rolling Stones "Exile on Main Street" album.
• Driving through a particular town might cause a song to play because the artist is going to be playing a concert there, according to an online article.

Important: This app uses only music in the iPhone's music library. It does not connect with any streaming services. Also, the app won't work well on an iPod Touch, since it doesn't have a GPS.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
