RockAI is a powerful machine learning tool designed for rock climbers to efficiently and accurately identify the rock type they are going to be climbing.

By utilizing the new CoreML framework and iPhone Neural Engine engineered by Apple, as well as innovative edge computing practices, we were able to train and compress a deep neural network model that can classify multiple different rock types that are commonly found when sport and trad climbing.
