RSCCochin

Regional Sports Centre, Cochin (RSC) is situated in the heart of Cochin City, in four acres of land belonging to Kerala State Sports Council. It consists of

1) Fully Air-conditioned Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium,
2) Justice P. Govindan Nair Indoor Tennis Complex
3) United India Insurance Artificial Turf & Jogging Track and
4) RSC Indoor Swimming Pool.

RSC was established in the year 1979. The construction of its entire infrastructure was done with the money raised as admission fees from members and through corporate sponsorships. This concept of Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode was introduced for the first time here, way back in the year 1986 itself, during the construction of Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium that was completed in the year 1993.
