If you have booked a trip with Rueckenwind Reisen GmbH, this app offers an additional orientation on your smartphone during your bicycle trip. The app is not a conventional navigation app, but only useful in combination with a booked Rueckenwind trip (www.rueckenwind.de).
Rueckenwind provides the maps for the bike tour, the GPX data for the bike route and the booked hotels on request. Once downloaded, the data and maps are available offline. This means that there are no roaming charges even if you use the system abroad.
Beware : Continued use of the GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
