Rules for Offline Rummy:

Number of Players:
Two to six people can play rummy.

Deck:
Use one or two standard decks of 52 cards, depending on the number of players.
Include printed jokers (if available) and wild jokers (randomly selected at the start of the game).

Dealing:
Each player is dealt 13 cards.
The draw pile is created by arranging the remaining cards face down.
To begin the discard pile, the top card from the draw pile is positioned face-up.

Objective:
Sort all 13 cards into sets and sequences that make sense.
A valid declaration must include at least two sequences, one of which must be a pure sequence (without a joker).

Valid Sets and Sequences:
Pure Sequence: A group of 3 or more consecutive cards of the same suit
Impure Sequence: A group of 3 or more consecutive cards of the same suit with one or more jokers used as substitutes
Set: A group of 3 or 4 cards of the same rank but different suits ).

Wild Joker:
At the start of the game, a card is randomly selected as the wild joker.
All cards of that rank, regardless of suit, act as wild jokers and can be used to replace any card in a set or sequence.

Gameplay:
Each player takes a turn selecting the top card from the discard pile or drawing a card from the draw pile.
The player has to toss one card into the discard pile after drawing.
Players continue forming sets and sequences until one player is ready to declare.

Declaration:
To declare, a player must have at least two sequences (one pure) and the remaining cards arranged in valid sets or sequences.
The player must place their final card face-down in the "finish" slot to indicate a valid declaration.

Scoring:
The winner of the round scores zero points.
Losing players score points based on the ungrouped cards in their hands:
Face cards (Jack, Queen, King, Ace): 10 points each.
Number cards: Face value .
Jokers: 0 points.

Winning the Game:
The game can be played over multiple rounds until a player reaches a predetermined score (e.g., 101 or 201 points).
The winner of the game is the one who finishes with the lowest score.

Players can use jokers strategically to complete sets or sequences.

If the draw pile runs out, the discard pile (except the top card) is shuffled and reused as the new draw pile.
A player who fails to declare correctly (invalid declaration) is penalized with a high score (e.g., 80 points).
Enjoy the game of Rummy with friends and family! It’s a perfect way to spend quality time together while sharpening your strategic thinking and card skills.
