RVA MakerFest

RVA MakerFest, organized by volunteers from a number of Richmond-area companies and groups, creates a festival environment to showcase the creativity and skills of local Makers.

This event breaks down the silos between existing makers and maker groups which encourages a collaborative DIY community in Metro Richmond. RVA MakerFest advances the STEAM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) among children to seed more makers. We invite everyone to visit the Science Museum of Virginia for this annual event and get inspired to embrace tinkering and creation as paths to learning and innovation.

This iPhone app was handcrafted by MAXX Potential Apprentice Developers to help visitors navigate, browse and collect information about the Makers, and share their experiences instantly through any form of social media.
