Punycode encoding is a method of converting Unicode strings into ASCII strings, mainly used for the implementation of internationalized domain names (IDN), and is designed to solve the internationalization problem of domain names and email addresses on the Internet.
Punycode encoding is mainly applied in: internationalization support, domain name resolution compatibility, internationalization of email addresses, and international standardization.
This application mainly provides encoding and decoding tools centered on Unicode strings, aiming to encode Unicode strings through core technologies and achieve the process of converting Unicode strings into data that can be correctly resolved and compatible by DNS. Specifically, it includes: performing one-click decoding operations on the data encoded by Punycode; Encode Unicode strings in Punycode; Encode Unicode characters in Punycode+SHA.
