Safety Predictor provides an easy to interpret predictive score for anywhere in the U.S. on violent crime of either your current location or locations you enter on a 1-100 scale. Locations can be compared and are color coded as being less safe to more safe by color with a max safety score of 100.

1-40: RED
41-60: YELLOW
61-100: GREEN

The score is based on the FBI definition of violent crime as part of the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) program. However crime is opportunistic and situational and can happen in any neighborhood.
