Sakeena is the first app that truly upholds Islamic principles, offering a fresh approach by providing a platform for Muslim parents to connect directly. Centered entirely on Islamic beliefs, this app is designed for members who prioritize the pursuit of genuine relationships. Sakeena has been reviewed and approved by Islamic scholars.

CREATE YOUR PROFILE
In just a few steps, create your profile with the information you'd like to share with other members on Sakeena.

PROFILE REVIEW
Once you submit your profile, it is reviewed by the Sakeena team to ensure it meets our compliance requirements. If there are any issues, you will be notified that changes are needed. Details on what needs to be adjusted will be provided within the app. Once approved, your profile will become visible to all Sakeena members. While your profile is under review, or if it is not approved, it will not be accessible to any members.

UPDATE YOUR PROFILE
You can update your profile at any time. Changes to the open-text sections or updates to your profile picture (for male profiles only) will trigger a new review. During this review period, you will not be able to send or receive interests, and your profile will temporarily stop appearing to members.

SEARCH PROFILES
Filter profiles based on your preferences, such as age, location, education, occupation, religious commitment, and more. You can view profiles both within and outside of your location.

VIEW PROFILES
When you find a profile that meets your requirements, tap to open the full profile. This will provide you with additional information, including details on their work, education, residence, religion & lifestyle, partner preferences, and any other comments they may have added.

SEND INTERESTS
If you believe you are compatible with a profile, send them an interest. They will be notified immediately and can view your profile to decide if they want to proceed. If they accept your interest, you will receive a notification. All interests you send will appear under the Sent tab on the Interests page.

RECEIVE INTERESTS
Just as you can search and view profiles, other members may be viewing yours. If they send you an interest, you will receive a notification, and their profile will appear under the Received tab on the Interests page. You can review their profile and decide how to proceed.

INTEREST EXPIRATION
All interests exchanged on Sakeena have an expiration time. If an interest expires without receiving a response, it will disappear from the Received tab.

AFTER INTEREST IS ACCEPTED
Once an interest is accepted, both members will be able to view each other's contact information. Either member can initiate contact and continue the conversation outside the platform. Sakeena does not provide an in-app messaging feature. All conversations occur directly between the two members.

REPORT PROFILES
If you've tried to contact a member who approved your interest but haven't received a response, you can report their profile. You can also report members if you believe they are violating Sakeena's policies. Sakeena actively monitors these reports and may contact you for additional information if necessary. Members who violate our policies may be banned permanently without notice.

DELETE ACCOUNT
Once you've found what you were looking for, whether through Sakeena or other means, you can delete your account. This will permanently remove all your information from our system, and your profile will no longer be visible to anyone.
