Connect with a new Salford Uni student each week. Get to know each other for a few days and then when the photos are revealed you can make the big decision.

Ever walked around your faculty or sat in a lecture theatre and thought about how many cute students there are who you'd love to get an introduction to? Girl, we got you. We made this app for Salford Uni students who want to meet the person who is right for them - or just meet a different cutie every week. We all love swiping but sometimes it's just a bit much. Slow down and let us pick your date for you.

Our AI matching system uses 3 different types of AI functions to find you a person who's right for you. The more matches you have, the better your matches should get. You can chat with Mari, our in-app AI non-binary fairy godmothem, and let them know what you're looking for, who you liked, and who you didn't like and why. We try to analyse these conversations to improve your future matches.

When you download the app, you'll have to upload 5 photos and choose your gender and any genders you want included in your preferences. After this, Mari will try to force you to answer a whole bunch of questions. Please answer these so that you complete your onboarding. Some of the questions may seem silly but they are all important. Vital, even.

What do we ask in return?

The app will ask you to turn on notifications so you can know when other users have messaged you. You only get matched with one person each week so you shouldn't be flooded with messages. We want to create a calmer, slower, and more chill dating experience.

The app will also ask you for your location. This helps us try to localise to the university but it isn't used right now to shape who you're matched with.

While the app uses AI to help get you good matches, the systems are linked up so that information can't spill out. If you tell something to Mari, it can't reveal that information to another person. Each chat experience is a separate interaction. Information is pulled from the chat to a separate system to help improve matches and information can't flow back in.

If you have any problems or support issues you can first ask Mari in the app and they should be able to help with most situations. If you need a person, you can contact one of the founders at amanda@intro-me.ai and she'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

By signing up through Apple ID you do not give us your email, but we are able to contact you through a proxy address created by Apple if there is anything you need to know about the product or your account.

The app is currently free. But AI is expensive and so are apps generally, so we'll start building a premium tier soon. We'll keep it affordable though.
