SAM VR is an app which belongs to the SAM solution inside the STARS PCP project (This PCP procurement is part of a project that is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme, under grant agreement No 727585 — STARS). The goal of the overall solution is to reduce the stress and anxiety of patients who must undergo a surgery from the moment they are notified of it until their final discharge. This VR app helps patients go through by means of Virtual Reality, the most common steps during a pre and post-surgical process in the hospitalization phase. The app has been developed by one of the partners of the project, AIS (Advances in Surgery) and for now contains content of a Cardiac Surgery.
