Lord Swaminarayan was known as NilkanthVarni at that time and He had visited Ranjitgadh village at Deriyari (Shiv Temple) in the year VikramSamvat 1856 after visiting Charadava. The place which becomes pilgrimage place and auspicious due to visit of Lord Swaminarayan is the same Shree HarikrushnaDham. Lord Swaminarayan had stayed overnight at small Lod Shiva Templs and had eaten poisionous plant named Valnag. Lord Swaminarayan had also taken bath in the lake there and made it pias and pilgrimage place too. Every year on Bhadarvi Amavasya (No moon day of the Bhadarva month of hindu calendar) people gather here and saints from MuliDham and other places come to celebrate and to remember the visit of Lord Swaminarayan.
