SOUTH AFRICAN TRADITIONAL MUSIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS (SATMA) Awards founded in 2006, are the largest Traditional Music Awards and the only 'one of its kind' on the African continent. This brand has contributed a lot when it comes to the development of traditional music in this country and has also exposed traditional music across the globe. We were the first awards to reward our Award-winning artists with prizes (monetary, resources, education, etc.) and not just a beautiful trophy.
