SavingsBox Inc. is an Ohio based corporation founded in 2018 (Formally incorporated as CashBox Inc.) with the aim of creating an online platform to help solve the problem of lack of savings in the U.S. and to help users meet their spending goals. We foster savings by pooling each user’s strength to encourage other users to save to meet their savings goals. Out of the strength and accountability of many, we intend to help meet each user’s goals.
We operate on the principles of inclusion, diversity, accountability, integrity, participation and respect for humanity.
According to a 2017 U.S national survey, there were 8.4 million unbanked households and 66.8% were saving at home or with family or friends. Our business gives members the freedom to form their clusters, save and meet their spending goals. We will continue to update our product with sustainable features to ensure that our users take control of their savings needs with the support of each other.
Because Users formed their own clusters from known friends and family members, there is a deep sense of security and users will be able to make their contributions and disburse funds with relative ease, supported by a world class payment processing platform. Also, Users will be able to access our Financial Coaching Center allowing them to benefit from a wide range of financial topics affecting their financial wellbeing, such as Savings, Spending, and Credit.
