A: Yes, the app caches all of the drinks and recipes in order to use it both online and offline while still allowing over the air updates for new content.

Q: Doesn't that take up storage space on my phone?
A: It does but very little. We don't cache any large files that will clog up your phones storage so the footprint is very little.
