Securer is the app which allows the community to share online, in a simple and quick way, instant information about dangerous situations: natural disasters, acts of terrorism, violence on people, violence on animals and other risks, via real time geolocation. It is an instrument designed to help and get help, for the security of everyone with the participation of everybody. In many situations, traditional alert systems are not enough. Securer multiplies the observers and turns them into a network in which everybody offers a contribution, for one's own sake and for the sake of others.
Securer allows its members (who register through strong authentication) to wave instances of danger in real time and with geolocation. The message, anonymized, can be seen by the whole community, who can use it to avoid dangerous areas, have more information if already involved, add information, add images, ask for help or send an ‘I’m ok” message to a list of contacts, follow instructions by competent authorities (e.g. transport authorities or homeland security) thanks to their official identified account.
Securer sends a notification when the warning of danger is within 3 km from the position of the member.
To know that we are not alone in a moment of fear is the best way to react, to help and be helped. Securer is the place where we can act all together. To warn about a danger helps everybody: those who alert and those who read. It’s the contrary of being helpless: it’s a call to action. A warning can save lives. Securer is there, when you most need it.
