SemiEdu reaches its 26th edition and consolidates itself among the most important educational events of the Midwest region, bringing together researchers from several Brazilian states and from other countries. In 2018, the event takes place between 04 and 07 of November, at the Federal University of Mato Grosso.
Dialogue among Public Policies, Teacher Training and Basic Education is the central theme of SemiEdu 2018, which commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGE) of the Federal University of Mato Grosso, whose trajectory indicates the intense and continuous production knowledge and important contributions to the country. Given the current scenario, considering the current debates about research and graduate studies, the theme includes the deepening of the discussions started in previous editions of the event and the inclusion of new perspectives enunciated in the recent congresses of the area. The idea is to articulate subjects, dialogues and contexts for a more plural view on the Brazilian educational problem.
