Senior Check-In

Senior Check-In allows the "Team's Senior" to be monitored by a team of one or more "Emergency Contacts" in a non-obtrusive manner on a regular schedule.

Using the app, the Team's Senior, or an Emergency Contact given permission by the Team's Senior, sets up a Schedule of multiple Check-In times on a daily or weekly repeated basis. The Team's Senior is informed of each Scheduled Check-In by a notification sent to their iPhone. The first such notification comes one hour before the Scheduled Check-In time. If the Team's Senior does not respond then another notification is sent 10 minutes before the Check-In time and then, finally, one minute before (and, optionally, 30 seconds before) the scheduled time. The final one minute (and optional 30 second) notification is accompanied by an alarm tone.
If the Team's Senior does not respond before the Scheduled Check-In time then all of the Emergency Contacts receive an alarm notification accompanied by an alarm tone. The app provides a convenient method for any Emergency Contact to call the Team's Senior in the event that the Team's Senior fails to check-in to a Scheduled Check-In in a timely fashion.
The Team's Senior, or an Emergency Contact given permission, can set up a full Team by inviting others to join a Team using draft "Invitations" that the app generates. Invitations can be sent by Email or Text Messages.
Once the Team is established, the Team's Senior can grant any Emergency Contact permission to modify the Schedule of Check-Ins and determine the Location of the Team's Senior for 24 hours after the Team's Senior fails to check-in to a Scheduled Check-In.
The app also includes a Message Board that allows members of the team to exchange messages.
