Sepsis Quiz

The sepsis quiz app was created to assist physicians to adhere to the sepsis recommendations and learn them. The goal of this application is to assist internists, intensivists, fellows, residents, and interns practice evidence-based medicine. It is an entertaining way for internal medicine physicians and ICU physicians to test their knowledge on the go. Please refer to the Surviving Sepsis Campaign sepsis guidelines, the findings of AIRSE, ProMISe, and ProCESS trials when making decisions regarding patient care.

Sepsis is one of the leading causes of mortality in hospitalized patients. Efforts in treating a septic patient are time-dependent. It is therefore of the essence that physicians have the right tools at their disposal. Tools that would help assess the severity of the patient and diagnose sepsis using evidence-based medicine.
