SG50 Journey

The SG50 Journey App is a special commemorative app which aggregates some of the trails created under the National i-Trail Challenge (NiTC) as well as the Ministry of Education's mySG Trails and Exhibitions programme.

The inaugural National i-Trail Challenge (NiTC) was organised in 2012. Aimed at students from Primary 4 upwards, groups of students were challenged to use a simple web-based learning trail design application to create digital learning trails about Singapore. Organized around a different overarching theme each year, the NiTC has reached out to more than 110 schools. Over 100 Community i-Trails and over 220 Heritage i-Trails have been created by students for the public. The winning NiTC trails over the years have been featured in this SG50 Journey App.

NiTC is a joint effort between Crescent Girls' School and the following organisations:
- Ministry of Education
- South 2 Cluster Schools
- Peoples' Association
- National Heritage Board
- National Parks Board
- Microsoft Singapore
- Rockmoon Pte Ltd
