Our Principle
Our policy is simple. We believe that people come here to eat, but would also love it, if a rapport was there between the customer and the staff. We’ve done this now for 31 years and it’s proof in our wonderful customer base.

Our History
We originally opened The Curryland in 1979 and the business there was so good. It was Worthing’s first ever takeaway Indian. We then listened to our customers and opened Shafiques in 1986. We’ve since been serving the community since 1986, and the secret to our business is to treat customers like family.

Our Method

We believe in using top quality ingredients and ensuring a sustainable business plan is the reason we have been here since 1986. We always aim to always exceed your expectations, and we know that sometimes we won’t. So, we ask you to help us improve, and tell us when something is not quite to your standards. We will always take on real feedback and look to adapt ourselves. Ultimately, we have survived because we have been happy to listen and change.
