The Shared Meter Agent app by Smart Energies enables users to pay-as-they-cook without having to own a gas cylinder. It also creates businesses for “Agents” by enabling them to own the meters, deploy to communities and efficiently manage and monitor cooking gas usage across the country. Customer registrations can also be done directly from their mobile devices. By connecting with Smart Energies Meters via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), the app ensures a safe, transparent, and convenient way to access cooking gas.
Agents can quickly onboard customers by capturing key details such as name and contact details. Each customer is assigned a secure PIN, which is used to verify their identity and access their gas account.
With the Shared Meter Agent app, agents can:
