The Siemens binax platform offers binaural features, all the time, automatically and without compromising battery life. The binax features are very powerful and during normal operation work together in a fully integrated manner within the automatic program to deliver excellent sound quality and comfort. The binaxDemo App is a tool to trigger and freeze the feature setting for a certain situation so that the hearing care professional can demonstrate the benefit of binax features consistently and reliably.

The binaxDemo App allows the hearing care professional to be mobile and flexible in how they demonstrate the powerful features of binax. You have the option to demonstrate within the hearing care professional’s clinic/office using speakers to simulate various situations or move outside for a more real world experience.


Note: The binaxDemo App is a tool for hearing care professionals only!! There is an inbuilt authentication method which is only available to hearing care professionals. It is not for consumer use and will not provide any benefit to their listening experience during normal wearing.

Intended Use: The binaxDemo App is a tool intended for use by a hearing care professional only, e.g., ENT doctor, audiologist or acoustician to demonstrate the features of the binax platform to patients.

Device compatibility: binaxDemo App is compatible with iPhone 4s, 5, 5c, 5s running iOS 7.0 or higher. We recommend using a smartphone device rather than a tablet device for an optimal user experience. The app is only compatible with the latest generation of Siemens Hearing Aids; Carat 7bx/5bx, Carat A 7bx/5bx and Pure 7bx/5bx.

Control signals: This app generates short control signals which are designed to be played through the devices speakers and may be audible.
To ensure correct operation and for safety reasons:
1. While using the app do not hold the loudspeaker of this device to your ears or the ears of others.
2. While using the app do not use the device with headphones, headsets or other audio playback devices.
